The pages of this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue are being graced by a Connecticut woman,

Adaora Akubilo, or Windsor, is one of the 18 models appearing in the 2012 edition of the magazine's popular layout. The 22-year-old attended Central Connecticut State University, according to coedmagazine.com.

Posing for famed SI photographer, Walter Iooss, Jr., Akubilo's photo shoot took her to a beach on the northern shore of Australia in Cairns, Queensland.

She is a "rookie" in the Swimsuit Edition, and it up for the magazine's "Rookie of the Year" against five other models. Vote for Akubilo here.
