Free food! It’s April Fools Day, but these eateries ‘aint foolin!

Make sure to grab some free 10-inch pizza today at “No Anchovies,” a New York-style pizzeria in Cromwell.

The 13-year-old business, located on Route 3, just wants to give back to the community -- a nice gesture in not-so-nice economic times.

Why stop eating at “No Anchovies?” If you head on up to Wethersfield’s “Tim Horton’s,” you can enjoy free barbecue or ranch chicken wrap snackers until 2 p.m.

The snackers are new to the menu and the coffee and sandwich shop is eager to have its customers try the new wrap.

Who ever said “there is no such thing as a free lunch?”
