    Skippers Dock of Stonington offers the freshest seafood and mouth-watering entrees. They also offer lunch and dinner specials and serve selective items for Sunday brunch.  Prices start around $9.

    Apricots, located on the Farmington River, is in a beautiful two-story building and has an outdoor patio, a casual pub, formal dining and can do weddings, showers or any occasion. Apricots offer s American cuisine starting at $6 and up.

    Bill’s Seafood has a center bar, dinner room and outdoor picnic tables on the edge of the Patchogue River. Bill’s Seafood specializes in seafood, including scrod, swordfish, tuna, big sweet lobsters, cherrystone clams and fried clams.  Not into seafood and just want to enjoy outside? No problem, Bill’s offers sandwiches, burgers, and even spaghetti and meatballs. (Yes! we did say spaghetti & meatballs) . Prices at Bill’s Seafood start at $3.

    Abbott’s is open only for the season. They offer the Abbottizer Special which includes fresh uncooked vegetables complemented with fresh fruit and fine cheese served with crackers and Abbott's own special dipping sauce. Enjoy it while your lobster steams. Starters include clam chowder and  tossed green salad. A New England Seafood Feast starts with clam chowder and Shrimp in the Rough followed by a heaping bowl of steamers and mussels, topped off with an Abbott's Steamed Lobster. All accompanied by potato chips, coleslaw and drawn butter. Abbott’s also offers lobster dinners, seafood rolls and desserts. Abbott’s is a BYOB establishment and call for prices.

    This restaurant is different, so if you are looking to be waiting on, you’re not going to experience it a Bloodroot. When you go in, you order from a blackboard menu and a woman seated behind a desk places your order. When your order is up, you can enjoy it in the dining room or outside on the patio. One last thing, you are expected to bus your own table. As we said, it is different, but if you desire vegetarian food, you’ll be in the right place.  (Call for pricing)

    The G.W. Tavern offers brunch, lunch and dinner. Their food is a rich blend of traditional and contemporary. They even added unique items to the menu. The tavern offers Kobe Beef, locally raised venison, quail, and duck. Also as the seasons change, additional items will be added such as local crops, and seafood. They are open seven days a week but their hours do change so call or check their website before heading out the door. Pricing starts at around $8 and up.

    La Zingara offers Italian cuisine with a contemporized twist. They use the freshest food grown from their own garden or selected from local farmers. Even though they are located in Bethel, you will feel like you dining in your own Italian Villa. Check the website for hours. Prices start around $8 and up.

    L’Escale is a sophisticated French establishment serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday bunch. They allow you to dine alfresco in the spring in summer on their terrace which overlooks the harbor. Or you can enjoy their bar and lounge in a casual atmosphere. In addition, L’Escale has live music during the week and a DJ on Saturdays for you to enjoy.  Hours vary so please check their website. Prices start at $10 for lunch appetizers and go up from there.

    The Schoolhouse offers distinctive American style foods in an old schoolhouse atmosphere. They do offer outside dining and are on the river. They serve lLunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. It is a very quant restaurant so it is best to call ahead. Prices start at about $10 and up.

    Splash offers American food with an Asian twist. Splash is open for dinner, Sunday brunch and is open for lunch during the summer season. Prices start at $8 and go up from there.
