Restaurant Week Begins

It is Connecticut restaurant week and 102 restaurants across the state are participating and offering a three-course meal for $20.12.

Most have posted a limited restaurant week menu and you can find those menus here.

23 Sports Café, at Mohegan Sun Casino is serving a salad, French onion filet mignon and berries. (860) 862-9615

1249 Wine Bar in Waterbury is serving four different appetizers; four entrees, including pan-seared tilapia, grilled New York strip, duck Confit legs, chicken marsala and desserts.

Abigail’s Grille and Wine Bar in Simsbury has a tasty menu that includes blackened Gulf shrinp, pumpkin ravioli, swordfish and eggplant brochette and more. (860) 264-1580. If you plan to go, make reservations.

Anthony Jack’s Wood Fired Grill in Southington has separate lunch and dinner menus for restaurant week. The mini pork Osso Buccos over red skinned mashed with vegetable topped with a horseradish maple glaze and everything crusted salmon over red skinned mashed with vegetable topped with wasabi aioli and sweet chili look particularly tasty.
