Apple Store Opens in New Haven This Weekend

A fifth Apple store will open in Connecticut this weekend right near Yale.

The new store opens at 65 Broadway on Sept. 24 at 10 a.m.in a space that Barnes & Noble vacated, the New Haven Independent reports.

Stores in the area have been waiting for the increase in foot traffic to help them survive, according to the Independent.

The store is giving away 1,000 T-shirts, one for each of the first 1,000 people who enters the store.

The other Apple stores in Connecticut are located at Danbury Fair Mall, Westfarms, Stamford Town Center mall, and on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich.
