    Glowelle
Glowelle's strategic fruit complex to bring you brighter, smoother skin.

BEAUTIFYING BEVERAGE... We were tossed a sample of Glowelle on our way out of the Jill Stuart show at the New York Public Library and were immediately intrigued. We've tried and tasted our share of skin-softening/brightening/clearing beverages in the past with little success, but Glowelle - manufactured by parent company, Nestle - backs their product with some extensive clinical proof. Just after 30 days of trying Glowelle, 87 percent of their research pool claimed their skin was brighter and more radiant, 92 percent claimed it was smoother, and 84 percent claimed they felt more beautiful (come on now, even we think that might be pushing it).  But the "Beauty Drink" comes in two tempting flavors, Raspberry Jasmine and Pomegranate Lychee, in powder or ready-to-drink form, chuck full of antioxidants and skin sweetening botanicals. Bottoms up!

COUTURE CONSIGNMENTS... We think Peonies is so cute, not only because it's named after our favorite flower, but because they call their devout customers, Peonistas. It's a consignment shop, no less, and while you might be wondering where all the ladies who lunch send their old cashmere knitsets and Chanel jackets once the season has passed, it's more than likely, here. Not just a treasure trove for the luxe labels we all desire, but a meticulously cared-for and hand-picked way to shop on a budget, with consistently new items being brought into the store as we speak. Check out Peonies in Centerbrook and tell them NBC Connecticut's WANT THIS sent you.

JUST AN OYSTER KIND OF A GIRL... Growing up in Connecticut, of course we had pearls. But in a sea of pearls, we can't help but feel a little lost by every brunch date we encounter. Boston-based jewelry designer Kate Hines knows the feeling. That's why her Pearl Puddles earrings play homage to the fact that every pearl is meant to be as different and unique as the woman that wears them. Order online for about $120 a pair.
