Ever have a cake go horribly wrong?
That's the topic of blogger and author Jen Yates' book Cake Wrecks and she' will be in West Hartford on Tuesday night for for an evening filled with laughs about when frosting fails.
Yates will be signing her new book, "Wreck The Halls: Cake Wrecks Gets "Festive" at the Barnes & Noble in Blue Back Square on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Yates and her husband, John, will share their favorite stories and cake wreck photos, answer fan questions and host a cupcake "wreckplica" contest.
You can recreate a favorite wreck from Yates' blog or books on a cupcake and bring it to the event.
Whoever makes Jen and her hubby laugh the hardest will win.
