Crash Closes Silver Lane, East Hartford
A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after a crash in East Hartford.

A collision closed Silver Lane in East Hartford in both directions between Simmons Road and Forbes Street Thursday morning.
A car and motorcycle collided just before 8:30 a.m. The motorcycle driver appeared to be seriously injured, police said, and was taken to an area hospital.
If you must travel in the area, expect delays. The state Department of Transportation warms it could take five to six hours before the scene is clear.
