Interstate-91 northbound has reopened after a tractor-trailer went off the road and flipped in Rocky Hill.
The road was closed between exits 23 and 24 after a truck traveling northbound in the center lane of the highway just after midnight on Thursday knocked down a light pole, went off the highway, into the trees and turned over, police said.
A Lincoln Town car behind the truck struck the pole that had fallen into the highway, police said.
The truck driver suffered a small cut above his right eye. The driver of the Lincoln Town car was not hurt.
The road was congested for hours after the crash.
