State Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Accident

A fatal motorcycle crash closed Route 2 in Marlborough around 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, just before the evening rush hour.

The Department of Transportation reopened the highway at exit 13 eastbound after a number of hours.  Traffic was backed up to exit 16. 

Police confirm that one motorcyclist was  killed in the wreck.  It is unclear if other vehicles were involved.
