Ice created problems on Connecticut bridges on Monday morning and delayed the opening of one school.

There were several crashes on the Gold Star Bridge and buses are running late, so St. Mary’s Star of the Sea School in New London has a 30-minute delay.

The state Department of Transportation briefly closed part of Interstate 95 to treat the bridge because of crashes.

Only one school delay has been reported.

Temperatures were in the 20s on Monday morning, butthe high temperature will be between 40 and 45.
