One Killed in Crash on I84W, Vernon
An East Hartford man was killed in the crash.

A 35-year-old East Hartford man was killed in a crash on Interstate 84 West in Vernon on Thursday morning.
Michael King's car and a truck collided just before 5:15 a.m. and King was killed, state police said.
State police said conditions were icy and King was struck by the truck after he lost control of his Chevy Malibu.
The highway was closed between exits 67 and 67 because of the crash.
State police are investigating and ask anyone with information to call Troop C at 860-896-3200.
