First Alert: Slick Spots This Morning Result in School Delays

Expect a few slick spots as you step outside this morning, especially in the northwest corner of the state. Scattered rain showers throughout the day with temperatures rising into the upper 30s inland and low 40s near the shore.

Concerns of icy conditions in the morning prompted some school districts to have delays Wednesay moring. Check out the latest list - most of the delays are in the northwest corner where temperatures have been at or below freezing.

Winter weather advisories remain in effect for Litchfield, Hartford, Tolland, and Windham counties Tuesday until Wednesday at 7:00 AM.

Temperatures once again become unseasonably mild for the remainder of the work week right into the next week. We're forecasting highs in the low- to middle-40s Wednesday through the start of next week.

Snow lovers, unfortunately we don't have any snow in the forecast for the next 10 days. The good news is it looks like the weather changes to more of a wintry pattern by the end of the month and especially into February.
