High pressures builds in to close the week

After a few inches of rain overnight, improving weather is expected for the rest of Thursday.

Sun will blend with clouds and there can be an isolated shower. That's the exception and not the rule, however. Temperatures will rise into the lower and middle 70s!

Keep in mind, the average high temperature this time of year is only in the upper 50s.

Tomorrow features mostly sunny skies and it will be seasonable. High temperatures will be in the middle and upper 50s.

Saturday is a dry day, though high clouds increase in adance of the next weather system. Highs will be in the lower and middle 50s.

It will be cool for trick-or-treaters, as temperatures fall back through the 40s.

A system rides by to the north on Sunday, so a few showers are possible. It won't be a washout, but a good amount of cloud cover is expected. Temperatures will be in the lower and middle 60s.

Early next week the jet stream surges to the north, and that menas a big warm-up starts.

While lower 60s are expected on Monday, a high temperature in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees is possible on Wednesday. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will feature sun filtered by high clouds.
