May in March: 70s Arrive Wednesday

Temperatures will rise each day heading into the middle part of this week, eventually topping out in the 70s!

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, with highs nearing 60.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures skyrocketing into the lower and perhaps middle 70s inland, but only near 60 on the shoreline.

The water in Long Island Sound is currently around 40 degrees, so that's why locations near the water will be dramatically cooler.

A few showers are possible Thursday. The potential for 70 degrees is there on Thursday as well, though it is unlikely because a backdoor cold front will be in the area.
