We are getting the first snowfall of the season. Watch the latest morning forecast from NBC Connecticut meteorologist Bob Maxon.
The first accumulating snow of the season is coating parts of Connecticut this morning.
While there won't be a lot of snow, weather caused delays of up to 10 minutes on Metro-North because of slippery rail conditions. Service is now back to normal.
Precipitation started early this morning. For most, communities, it was just enough to put a pretty dusting on yards and decks.
In Ridgefield, a weather spotter has reported 2 inches of snow.
Today is a cold one and windy with highs of 36-42 degrees, but it will drop into the teens or 20s tonight.
