Yes, That's Snow, in October

There's no need to double check your calendars, it is still October, even with the snow on the ground.
"It's just crazy. The middle of October, I don't believe it," Scott Csefai, of Waterbury, said.
Neither did many others in Connecticut. They couldn't believe they were seeing white flakes amongst the yellow, red and orange fall foliage.
"The trees are still turning too, so it's one of those things you weren't thinking of," Kevin Schlupp, of Prospect, said.
The lawn on Pierpont Road in Waterbury was covered in white and there was just enough snow on the ground to make a nice, slushy snowball. On Friday morning, snow was still falling in Burlington.
The snow came fast and caused a couple minor crashes. People just weren't prepared to start cleaning snow off their cars. They haven't even pulled out the winter clothes.
"We have winter things at home, but we didn't wear them. Honestly, I didn't think it would really last. When I saw snow this afternoon, I thought it would be an hour or two, but it's been going on all day," Judy Csefai, of Waterbury, said Thursday.
Now, people are just hoping the rest of the snow will hold off for a while, so they can enjoy fall while it lasts!
"Hopefully, this weekend I'll get to see the foliage before I see another snow storm," said Rose Afholderbach of Prospect.
The earliest snow has fallen in Connecticut is Oct. 4, 1987.
