Sunny, Warm and Dry This Weekend

A sprawling area of high pressure will make for a spectacular summer weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will be sunny, with highs pushing 90 inland. At the beaches, temperatures will reach the lower 80s.

Do note that when the air is dry, like it's been for much of this summer so far, it turns chilly quickly once the sun goes down.

The dry streak continues Monday, with lots of sunshine and highs still well into the 80s.

A few storms are possible Tuesday as a cold front pushes through, but then the dry weather returns.

Rain is needed in Connecticut, as the deficit so far this year is over five inches in the Hartford area.
