The National Weather Service has issued wind advisories for central and eastern Connecticut starting Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New London, Tolland and Windham counties. Gusts could reach over 40 miles per hour bringing the possibility of downed trees and power outages.

Rain totals today will be on the order of one quarter to one half inch. Temperatures will fall into the 40s this evening, and with the wind, the wind chill will be in the 30s.

The rain pulls out of the state tonight, but the gusty winds remain. In fact, the best chance for a gust to 50 mph is tomorrow morning.

It will be mostly sunny tomorrow as temperatures rise to seasonable levels, in the lower 60s.

Monday finally brings a relief from the wind, and the dry weather sticks around. It will be slightly cooler, with high temperatures in the upper 50s.
