Auriemma Named Semifinalist for Naismith Coach of the Year

University of Connecticut women’s basketball head coach Geno Auriemma is a semifinalist for the 2018 Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year award.

The award recognizes outstanding women’s college coaches for their performance.

Auriemma joins a list of 10 semifinalists in the running. Four finalists will be announced on March 14. Fans can then support their coach by voting anytime from March 19 – 30. Voting will be available here.
