The defending national champion UConn men's basketball team announced its 15-game home schedule Tuesday that will include visits from Texas and Memphis to Gampel Pavilion and Cincinnati and SMU to the XL Center.
Details via the school's announcement:
"The 2014 National Champion Huskies will play seven home games on campus at Gampel Pavilion and seven home games at the XL Center, as well as an exhibition game at each venue. In addition, UConn will return to Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport for the second straight season to play one home game."
The home schedule now stacks up like this:
* Nov. 4: Southern Connecticut, Gampel (exhibition)
* Nov. 9: Assumption College, XL Center (exhibition)
* Nov. 14: Bryant College, Gampel
* Nov. 30: Texas, Gampel
* Dec. 22: Columbia, Webster Bank Arena
* Dec. 31: Temple, XL Center
* Jan. 10: Cincinnati, XL Center
* March 1: SMU, XL Center
* March 5: Memphis, Gampel
Additional AAC opponents coming to the XL Center include South Florida (Jan. 25), Tulsa (Feb. 12). AAC opponents headed for Gampel: Central Florida (Jan. 22), East Carolina (Feb. 4) and Tulane (Feb. 19).
The Huskies have previously released their full conference schedule, and their non-conference schedule.
