UConn Pro Day on Wednesday

Wednesday will be the next stop in the process for former Huskies football players hopeful of hearing their names called in next month's NFL Draft. It's UConn's Pro Day, which will include teams from around the league descending on Storrs to watch a handful of players go through glorified field-day events -- 40-yard dash, three-cone drill and various position-specific workouts.

The participants, via the Hartford Courant:

Blidi Wreh Wilson, CB; Ryan Wirth, DT; Trevardo Williams DE/OLB; Nick Williams, WR/KR/PR; Mike Smith, WR; Sio Moore, LB; Johnny McEntee, QB; Adam Masters, OL; Teddy Jennings, DE; Jory Johnson, LB; Ryan Griffin, TE, John Delahunt, TE; Dwayne Gratz, CB and Denzel Allen, WR.

Wilson, Trevardo Williams, Moore and Gratz will all be drafted, anywhere from the second round on. Griffin, who wasn't invited to last month's combine, is also a candidate to get drafted.

The NFL Draft takes place April 25-27 in Radio City Music Hall. Last year, Kendall Reyes was a second-round pick of the San Diego Chargers. He played in all 16 games and finished his rookie season with 5.5 sacks.
