Inception (2010)
Leonardo DiCaprio stars in director Chris Nolan’s brilliant heist film that takes place inside the mind of an unsuspecting business magnate. Restrepo (2010)
Author Sebastian Junger and photographer Tim Hetherington spent a year in Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley, widely considered the most dangerous place on Earth, with a platoon of U.S. soldiers at a camp named after their medic who was killed in action. Shrek Forever After (2010) (Single-Disc Edition or Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular Double Pack)
The fourth and final (?) installment in the green ogre franchise, it finds our hero getting the “It’s a Wonderful Life” treatment. Absence of Malice (1981)
Paul Newman plays yet another dirt bag, this time a Miami businessman named by a local reporter, Sally Field, as a possible suspect in a murder mystery in director Sydney Pollack’s film about the squishy ethics of journalism and the damage the press can do. Now available on DVD, watch the trailer

Cronos (1994)
The directorial debut from Guillermo del Toro, the genius behind “Hellboy” and “Pan’s Labyrinth,” it tells the story of a man who stumbles upon an ancient artifact with mysterious powers. It’s from Criterion, so you know it’s good. Now available on Blu-ray and DVD, watch the trailer

Lost in Translation (2003)
The film put Sofia Coppola on the map, stars Bill Murray as a movie star in Tokyo to film a commercial while his family life is crumbling back in the states. While there he meets the beautiful and much younger Scarlett Johansson, and together they forge an odd friendship. Now available on Blu-ray, watch the trailer

Videodrome (1983)
Another one from Criterion, this one directed by creep-out master David Cronenberg. It stars James Woods is a sleazy cable station programmer always on the lookout for new material.
