Dominique Moody

Dominique is a reporter for NBC Connecticut.

Originally from North Carolina, Dominique began his career in 2015 as a Production Intern for UNC-TV in Durham. In 2016 he was chosen for the WRAL Fellowship in Raleigh. That same year he became a Field and Series Intern for “Good Morning America,” a part of ABC News, in New York.

After interning at Fox 8 WGHP in Winston Salem in 2017, Dominique worked as a Reporter and Producer at WNCT in Greenville prior to joining NBC Connecticut.

Dominique has covered national events such as the 2016 Presidential Election and Hurricane Florence, but also mentions his stories on the African American Music Trails in Eastern North Carolina as some of his most memorable.

Dominique’s favorite part about reporting is meeting new people and that every day is a new adventure. His personal mantra is “giving a voice to the voiceless,” and he loves serving the community.

New to Connecticut, Dominique can’t wait to explore different towns and see all that the state has to offer. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, volunteering, mentoring young adults and visiting different art museums.
