    NBC Connecticut and Telemundo Connecticut are proud to join forces with the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This 5k walk raises funds for breast cancer research and treatment. On Sunday, October 6, NBC Connecticut's Meteorologist Bob Maxon will be the emcee at Bushnell Park in Hartford. Join us, as we celebrate survivorship, hope and determination to make breast cancer a thing of the past.

    Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Greater Hartford

    Walk: Sunday, October 6 at Bushnell Park in Hartford.

    Registration begins at 8 am; walk at 10 am.

    Walk: Sunday, October 20 at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven.

    Registration opens at 10:30 am; walk begins at 1 pm

    Walk: Sunday, October 20 at White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield
