Start the summer on a lifesaving note by donating blood at the NBC Connecticut/Telemundo Connecticut Blood Drive on Thursday, June 27 at Dunkin' Donuts Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats! Come down, give blood and be a part of Connecticut's largest one-day blood drive!
The American Red Cross will hold the blood drive from 8:00AM-6:00PM at Dunkin' Donuts Park at 1214 Main Street in Hartford. Free parking is available in the lot at the southeast corner of Main Street and Trumbull Street. All presenting donors will get a tour of the stadium, a voucher to an upcoming Yard Goats game and a free ticket to Six Flags New England.
Save up to three lives with a single blood donation. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are strongly encouraged. Go to redcrossblood.org and use sponsor code NBCCT to schedule an appointment. Speed up the donation process by completing "Rapid Pass" on the day of your donation. Answering several questions will save you time at the blood drive.
