The Arc Harvest of Hope Cocktail Party & Silent Auction

NBC Connecticut is proud to connect you to The Arc’s 2017 Harvest of Hope Cocktail Party & Silent Auction.

It takes place on Sunday, October 22, at St. Mark's Parish Hall, 467 Quaker Lane South, West Hartford, CT.

Money raised will help the efforts and programs that protect the civil and human rights of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in Connecticut.

Since 1950, The Arc has grown and adapted to the changes that people with disabilities face across their life span. These accomplishments include advocacy for the passage of state and federal legislation on behalf of people with disabilities, establishing a broad network of state and local chapters, as well as six decades of activism and research.

The Arc’s mission has always been to protect and promote “the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes." Core values of the Arc have been consecutive for 60 years: people first, community, equity, diversity and self-determination.

There is always a way to get involved with The Arc, including upcoming events like the Harvest of Hope Party & Silent Auction. With support and donations, The Arc Connecticut can continue its critical work on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Tickets are $50.00 per person and $100.00 per family. To find out more on how to attend or donate, click here.
