Brangelina to Battle Bodyguard

The heavy-hitting Hollywood couple is trying to squash bodyguard's plans for tell-all book

Brangelina's bodyguard is about to get a beat-down.

Superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are gearing up for a legal fight against former bodyguard Mickey Brett, who's set to pen a tell-all memoir that could spill juicy details about the Brangelina brood.

Brett is shopping a memoir and TV show about his time with a parade of celebrity clients, including Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock and Richard Gere, focusing his pitches around the years he spent guarding Brad and Angie, the New York Daily News reported.

The Jolie-Pitt clan is seeking legal action to stop the memoir, which allegedly paints a negative picture of Pitt, from going forward.

Brett is "a pathological liar," said the couple's American lawyer, Marty Singer, who claimed that Brett is an 11-time convicted criminal who was once questioned in a murder investigation.

Singer also told the News that Brett is bound by a confidentiality agreement that would legally prevent him from selling his stories.

Brett's lawyers said Singer's claims were false, but that Brett wouldn't comment further.
