    Jennifer Hudson was taken to a New York hospital Friday morning with abdominal pains, according to online reports.

    The Chicago native felt severe pains after performing on "Good Morning America," a spokesperson told RadarOnline.com. Hudson was treated at the hospital for food poisoning and then released, according to Radar. 

    She missed an appearance on the CBS Early Show because of the incident.

    Hudson is currently promoting her second album, "I Remember Me," and her upcoming movie, "Winnie," about Nelson Mandela's wife.
