Judge Adjourns Case Against Man Accused Of Stalking ‘SNL' Producer Lorne Michaels

The case against a New Yorker accused of stalking "Saturday Night Live" producer Lorne Michaels has been adjourned for six months. The judge says it will be dismissed and sealed if he stays out of trouble.

According to a criminal complaint, Evans Pidhajecky of Oyster Bay, Long Island, claimed Michaels overheard his comedic material and used it without permission.

The complaint says the 32-year-old tried to contact Michaels several times at his home and at NBC's Manhattan studios.

Defense lawyer Jack Litman said Pidhajecky wanted to speak to Michaels, but never stalked Michaels or committed any crime.

Criminal Court Judge Robert Mandelbaum ordered Pidhajecky to undergo therapy twice a week for six months. He must also "stay completely away" from Michaels.
