Leo DiCaprio Replacing Brad Pitt As Watch Ambassador

Leonardo DiCaprio is stepping in for Brad Pitt – but not on a movie set.

The “Revolutionary Road” star is picking up Brad’s role as ambassador for Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer, Access Hollywood has learned. Brad’s six-year contract recently expired.

And Leo won’t just be in style with the watches during his three-year contract – he and the company are donating royalties to environmental causes, and the actor is making a financial commitment of his own.

“Tag Heuer is a strong brand with a proven commitment to doing good,” Leo said in a statement to Access. “It is a great day when a company as respected as TAG Heuer explores a different way to do business—selling products and giving back at the same time. I’m very excited to start this new partnership, and look forward to a long relationship with TAG Heuer.”

The green-minded celeb serves as a board member of the Natural Resources Defense Council and also co-wrote, co-produced and narrated “The 11th Hour,” an eco-system documentary.

And while Leo has green in his future, there may be gold as well – Oscar nominations will be announced on January 22 and “Revolutionary Road,” which earned multiple nominations and a Best Actress win for Kate Winslet at the Golden Globes, is expected to be a front-runner.
