Lindsay Lohan “Fine” Following Reports of Hospitalization

The "Liz & Dick" star was treated for exhaustion and dehydration following grueling work schedule.

Paramedics were called to the hotel suite of Lindsay Lohan Friday morning.

"Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution," her spokesman Steve Honig said in a statement. "Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration."

The Los Angeles County fire department confirmed that they responded to a call at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, Ca., but said they treated the patient at the scene and did not take the person to the hospital.

"We received a call at 10:15 this morning at 4375 Admiralty Way in Marina Del Rey," says a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman to People. "We received a call about an unconscious person possibly in their 20s. The person was evaluated at the scene and not transported at the hospital."

Earlier unconfirmed reports had the troubled star rushed to a local hospital.

"Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false," adds Honig in the statement. "Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 p.m. and worked through the night until 8 a.m. this morning. She took a nap before shooting her final scene. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon."

Lindsay's father Michael Lohan also told Access Hollywood that his daughter was "fine" following the report.

It was only one week ago that Lohan made headlines when her car rear-ended a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway. No parties involved sustained major injuries.

Lohan is currently filming the Lifetime biopic "Liz & Dick" in which she portrays legendary film actress Elizabeth Taylor.
