Miley On Her Learner's Permit: ‘I Made My Mom A Nervous Wreck!'

Miley Cyrus just earned her learner’s permit this week, but she’s wasting no time making mother Leticia worry.

“I made my mom a nervous wreck,” she told Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell on Wednesday on the set of the Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana.”

But Miley said her mom, who just handed down her Porsche Cayenne to Miley, has nothing to fear.

“I’m pretty good at it,” she added. “I’m a good driver.”

Indeed, the “Hannah Montana” star was more concerned about having her license photo taken than taking her test.

“My picture’s not terrible,” she said. “That’s what I was most excited about. I was actually impressed.”

The permit wasn’t the only thing Miley got this week – she also became the youngest nominee at this year’s Golden Globes for her song from “Bolt,” “I Thought I Lost You.”

With Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce and Jamie Callum rounding out the category, she’s in good – and intimidating – company.

“That’s quite a lineup,” Miley laughed. “[Even] if you don’t take it, you’re in the same category as them and that’s like something I never thought would happen.”

But whether she wins or loses, older nominees had better watch out.

“I think they should have a group just for the kiddos,” she said. “I think we’re all ready to take over. It’s our turn now.”

While she may want the youth to take over, Miley told Nancy she is thrilled about bringing an older date to the awards — “Bolt” co-star John Travolta.

“I want to walk the carpet with John,” she said. “I got to do that at the ‘Bolt’ premiere for a little while and it was like, the best moment of my life.”
