LiLo Applying for Restraining Order Against Dad: Mom

Lohan will seek legal protection from dad Michael

Lindsay Lohan is fighting back against dad Michael's threats to spill their family secrets on TV by applying for a restraining order against her "loose cannon" father, mom Dina said Saturday.

Lohan decided to file a restraining order after Michael said he wanted to force Lindsay into rehab, Dina told the New York Post's Page Six Saturday. Sister Ali Lohan will also be filing against Michael, she said.

"It is horrific that a father could do ths. We are afraid he's spiraling out of control," Dina Lohan said. "Ali is scared and will be getting an order of protection. Lindsay is getting an order in California and New York."

Dina Lohan said Michael's media blitz -- he's appeared on talk and reality shows to dish about Lindsay's personal life -- has violated their father-daughter relationship and has hurt, not helped Lindsay.

"He's getting paid for these shows he's doing talking about Lindsay," said Dina, who also claimed Michael was six months behind in his child support.

"On Monday, we will file a violation order, and if he doesn't pay, he'll go to jail," she said.

Lindsay took to her Twitter page this weekend to fight against her dad, Tweeting that her "lunatic" father should be "behind bars" for what he's done to her and her family.

"My father is a lunatic&doesn't even deserve such a title since he's never been around in my life other than when he'd threaten me&my family," she wrote Friday.

"He should be where he has always put himself after verbally and physically abusing people all my life-behind bars," she wrote in another post.

Lohan was recently involved in a string of celebrity burglaries that saw fellow stars Orlando Bloom, Audrina Patridge and Paris Hilton's homes raided, allegedly by a group of super-fans obsessed with the clothing the celebrities wore.
