In the clip, Jackson is seen successfully finishing one take of the commercial where pyrotechnics go off around him, but on the sixth take, the explosion happens too soon and Jackson's hair ignites.

Jackson rises with singed hair and a bald spot where the fire scorched his head. He suffered second and third-degree burns on his scalp and body.

According to Us Weekly sources, the injuries Jackson sustained during the accident led him to take several types of prescription pain medications, which in turn led to his alleged dependency on various medications and alleged obsession with plastic surgery.
