Stallone and Schwarzenegger Team Up…In the Hospital

The "Expendables" co-stars are also hospital bunk mates.

Yes, even Rambo and the Terminator need the occasional doctor-assisted tune-up.

Former Governer of California Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a photo of himself and his surprise bunkmate, "Expendables" co-star Sylvester Stallone, during a recent visit to the hospital for shoulder surgery.

The meet-up was, according to Schwarzenegger, completely unplanned - both aging action stars needed shoulder work done - but it does nicely tie in to the duo's two upcoming onscreen team-ups in "The Expendables 2" and the prison action flick "The Tomb." Schwarzenegger also has his first big leading action role since leaving politics coming up, playing a border town sheriff fighting drug cartels in "The Last Stand."

"After all the action, stunts &physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder. Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb.#greattobeback"

In "The Tomb," Stallone is set to play a man who must escape from a prison of his own design, and Schwarzenegger will play an inmate.
