Although representing the alleged mistresses of Tiger Woods, Jesse James and David Boreanaz makes up for just a small part of her work, there’s no denying that Gloria Allred has become known as the go-to attorney for celebrity paramours. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the veteran lawyer explained why she remains unapologetic about her newfound reputation.
“It's not my fault if the media and the public are more interested in Tiger Woods than in women farm workers,” Allred said, referencing a high-dollar but low-profile gender-discrimination lawsuit her firm handled in 2008.
Allred’s decision to hold press conferences on behalf of — and sometimes with — the other-women in the recent rash of celebrity-cheating scandals certainly helped bring a little extra attention to her role, too. But why not? She’s not exactly ashamed of it. In fact, Allred views her mistress-related business much the same as she does any efforts she makes for women in need.
“I'm not an elected official who puts a finger in the wind to see what the majority thinks; I represent women, whether they're popular or not,” she told the magazine. “In the case of Joslyn James, who had an intimate three-year relationship with Tiger Woods, it's clear to me that he lied to her and broke her heart. I think that he should acknowledge that to her and should apologize, at minimum.”
Of course apologies don’t pay the bills, so there just might be another reason these alleged other-women want legal representation. Ultimately, according to Allred, it’s all about making “a statement that men need to be accountable for their lives and they'll suffer the consequences if they're not.”
Andrews caught dirty dancing with ballroom partner
Just a week after her third-place finish on “Dancing With the Stars,” sportscaster-turned-ballroom beginner Erin Andrews was spotted returning to the dance floor with her pro partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
A report in the New York Post Page Six revealed that Andrews and her maybe-boyfriend were seen performing some strictly freestyle moves at New York City’s SL.

Bensimon claims she’s the victim of ‘systematic bullying’
“Real Housewives of New York City” regular Kelly Bensimon filmed her very own low-budget public service announcement for fans of the Bravo show. In her YouTube offering, she shared her brand-new anti-bullying stance.
“I just wanted to clear the air,” Bensimon began. “While filming ‘Real Housewives,’ there was a lot that happened. But the most important thing that happened is one thing that I realized: Systematic bullying is never OK.”
Before devoted “Housewives” viewers assume the increasingly eccentric jewelry maker finally came to terms with what can only be described as her own heavy-handed meltdown in a recent episode of the show, it should be noted that Bensimon seems to be referring to her quartet of co-stars.
“Four against one is never OK,” she continued. “Whether you’re a 4-year-old, a 10-year-old or a 40-year-old woman. Being bullied or ganged up on is never OK. So if you’re in a situation where you see someone getting bullied or ganged up on, help them. And if you’re in a situation where someone is bullying or ganging up on you, remove yourself from the situation. I learned a lot this season. Compete with yourself and cooperate with others.”

Not if you ask Rutina Wesley, who plays Sookie Stackhouse’s BFF, Tara Thornton, on the vamp drama. “Last season was a little crazy, you know, with the orgies and stuff — but it sort of made sense,” Wesley explained in an interview with Parade. “When you're cast under a spell, your inhibitions just go out the window; you're just completely free to do whatever you choose to do. In footage provided to the magazine, a drunk Disick can allegedly be seen terrorizing Kourtney Kardashian to the point of hysterics. “I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone,” sister Kim Kardashian told the magazine. “To go through that ... you’ll see what a strong person Kourtney is.”
