Tiffany Rich has two items on her bucket list: get new lungs and meet Taylor Swift.

The 26-year-old from Brentwood in the East Bay is constantly in and out of the hospital to treat her cystic fibrosis. Rich also is on a wait list for a double-lung transplant.

"When you're getting poked and prodded at like a human pin cushion, it's not fun," Rich said.

Rich's parents were told their daughter likely would not have live past 18.

"You can't change it," she said. "Might as well make it positive."

Rich and her friend posted a picture online hoping Swift would see it and agree to meet them when the pop star performs at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara next weekend.

Since Rich posted the photo online, the hashtag "#Lungs4Tiff" has gone viral with nearly 4,000 retweets.

"It really warms my heart so much," Rich said. "I don't have the words."

Rich hopes she has the opportunity to let Swift know all she has done for her and for being a positive influence.

"She's just the sunshine on the worst day," Rich said.
