"Hidden Figures" stars are working hard to make sure everyone gets a chance to see their number one film in theaters.

Janelle Monáe invited everyone who would be inspired by the message of the movie to attend a free screening in Atlanta in an Instagram post on Friday.

"A friend of a friend of a friend I know has bought out a showing of #HiddenFigures THIS Sunday!," she wrote.

She went on to give a shout out to co-star and Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, who bought out a screening in Los Angeles for low-income families.

"My mom would not have been able to afford to take me and my siblings. So, I'm honoring her and all single parents this #mlkweekend Pass the word." Spencer wrote on Instagram last week.

Another co-star also followed Spencer's lead.

Taraji P. Henson bought out a screening in Chicago, writing on Instagram, "This is a MUST-SEE movie and I want to give those that may not otherwise have the chance the opportunity to see this powerful film."

"Hidden Figures" follows the real story of a team of African-American women who worked behind the scenes at NASA in the early 1960s to help launch the first American into space.

The film has been in the top spot since its Jan. 6 opening.
