Nick Gordon Gives First TV Interview Since Bobbi Kristina Brown's Death

The 20-year-old former boyfriend of Whitney Houston's late daughter is faced with some crucial questions during the upcoming conversation with Dr. Phil

It's been over a year since his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub at her Georgia home. Now, Nick Gordon is shedding a light on his side of the story.

The 20-year-old is slated to appear on "Dr. Phil" for his first televised appearance since Brown's untimely death. In a promo for the sit-down exclusive, Gordon is faced with questions the world has been asking since the tragedy, including "Tell me what happened the night Krissy went into the coma" and "Did you murder Bobbi Kristina Brown?"

After Brown's cause of death was revealed in March on what would have been her 23rd birthday, Gordon's name resurfaced in the headlines while his lawyers alleged he "tried to save Bobbi Kristina's life."

"The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one," attorneys Joe Habachy and Jose Baez said in a statement regarding the autopsy and ongoing criminal investigation surrounding her death. "The truth is that no one loved Bobbi Kristina more than Nick and no one has suffered more as a result of her death than [sic] Nick."

A medical examiner revealed that Brown passed away from Lobar pneumonia as a result of Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy and water immersion combined with mixed drug intoxication.

However, the manner of her death was deemed "undetermined," meaning it is still unknown whether Brown died from intentional or accidental causes.

While no official suspects have been named as of yet in the ongoing criminal case, Gordon was accused of putting "her face down in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage" in a $40 million civil lawsuit filed by Brown's estate.

The "Dr. Phil" interview will air on April 28.
