The White House South Lawn was filled with little ghosts and goblins, witches, dragons and other imaginative costumes Sunday as President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump celebrated Halloween. Cornstalks as tall as the Truman balcony hung from the White House columns, while colorful fall foliage draped the South Portico staircases. A sprawling harvest of decorative pumpkins, gourds, and hay bales was on display for the trick-or-treaters. The president and first lady handed out commemorative candy, and several departments and agencies had fun items and activities for the children including a moon carpet from NASA and robotics displays set up by First Lego Robotics League from the Department of Education.
