    Actor Dennis Hopper has passed away after a long battle with prostate cancer, a friend told Reuters. Hopper was best known for directing and starring in the 1969 classic "Easy Rider." He was 74.

    With the news of Hollywood legend Dennis Hopper's death on Saturday morning came a flurry of Tweets from stars who took to the micro-blogging service to memorialize the "Easy Rider" star.
