Parents' Group Admonishes Sexy “Glee” Photo Shoot in GQ

"Glee" is in hot water over some steamy pictures.

The Parents Television Council is attacking the hit FOX show for a series of photos in the November issue of GQ that depict cast members Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, and Cory Monteith in sexually suggestive poses, reports CNN.

"It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters," said a statement from the PTC. "Sadly, this is just the latest example of the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment.

PTC President Tom Winter said that the shoot "borders on pedophilia."

Fox declined to comment on the controversy, but GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson said that the PTC needs to learn to separate the actors from the characters they play.

"The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy," he said in a statement. "As often happens in Hollywood, these 'kids' are in their twenties. Cory Monteith's almost 30! I think they're old enough to do what they want."
