Cheyenne Jackson Marries Longtime Beau

Cheyenne Jackson tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Monte Lapka over the Labor Day weekend in his dream beach ceremony.

The "Glee" and "30 Rock" star wed his physicist beau in the Hamptons on September 3, People reported. The couple tweeted a picture of themselves by the ocean -- just where Jackson always wanted to get married.

"It's official, after 11 years together, Zora's no longer a bastard. Married the best man I've ever known," he wrote, referring to his dog Zora, who he calls his "daughter."

Rumors had circulated last year that the Broadway star wed Lapka, but Jackson tweeted that "those ugly bridesmaid dresses will have 2 wait for equality," until gay marriage is legal in New York.

Since the New York state senate passed the Marriage Equality act this past June, Jackson and Lapka finally got hitched.

Jackson, who has played Vocal Adrenaline coach Dustin Goolsby on “Glee” and TGS cast member Danny Baker on "30 Rock," told WNBC about his ideal wedding at th 9th Annual Elton John Foundation for AIDS fundraiser last October.

"Something small. My dream wedding involves just close friends and good music," he said. "And we'll both be in tuxes. Unfortunately, nobody's going to be wearing a dress, but that's okay, too….Our dog would be there. Our dog, our daughter, Zora. …. Pretty boring but something just nice and on the beach."
