World Series Champs Sergio Romo, Barry Zito on "Tonight Show" With Leno

Sergio Romo and Barry Zito are appearing on the "Tonight Show" Thursday. Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what will happen.

Earlier in the week, we got to see an amazing appearance on Conan from World Series champion Hunter Pence.

On Thursday night, Sergio Romo and Barry Zito will be the next group of Giants to make the late-night-talk-show circuit, appearing on The Tonight  Show With Jay Leno on NBC.

This is, to say the least, an odd pairing of Giants players. Romo made all kinds of noise on Wednesday when he sported an "I Just Look Illegal" T-shirt during the Giants World Series parade in San Francisco.

The guess here is that he'll wear something less controversial, but will still be decked out in some particularly goofy gear. Romo is this year's Brian Wilson; an absolute wild card.

That's what make pairing him with Zito so bizarre. Zito is the yoga guy. The acoustic guitar guy. The "please no more attention on me or my contract" guy. He and Romo go together like lamb and tuna fish.

Now, that being said, we can totally see a scenario where the pair fit in nicely with Leno. He won't bring anything too over the top, he's got an audience that will consider both players pretty "zany."

Hopefully Leno will make sure and ask Zito about redeeming his albatross of a contract (or whether he thinks he justified it; it's a fun debate) and ask Romo if he thinks he's the next Wilson.

The show will air at 11:35 p.m. ET on both the East and West Coast so make sure to tune in!
