A popular restaurant, bar and arcade is heading to Manchester.
On Monday, the Manchester Planning and Zoning Commission approved a proposal to bring Dave & Buster’s to its first Connecticut location.
The restaurant will be built at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills. The mall's parent company, General Growth Properties, plans to construct the facility on a 26,400-square-foot plot of land next to recently opened Market Grill.
According to the Dave & Buster's website, the restaurant and arcade provides “the most fun you can have all under one roof.” Dave & Buster’s has a full service restaurant and bar serving steaks, pastas and burgers, as well as a selection of cocktails, beer and wine. The facility also offers more than 200 arcade games featuring classics like skeeball to new favorites like Temple Run.
Sports fans can head to Dave & Buster's for game-day specials and promotions such as half-price games on Wednesday and an "eat, play, win" combo.
It's not clear when the new Manchester facility might be opening. In the meantime, you can visit but you can visit one of the more than 60 other Dave & Buster’s locations, including one in Braintree, Mass. and eight establishments around New York.
