The Hartford Rib Off is underway and goes until 5 p.m. This is the 10th annual rib off.
It’s at Riverside Park in Hartford and the price of a ticket includes a commemorative event cup for beer, all-you-can eat BBQ buffet, people’s choice BBQ samples from pit masters, Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails, live music and unlimited water and soft drinks.
There are vendors, activities for the kids and raffle prizes.
While you’ll fill your stomach with barbecue, you will also be benefitting the community.
The proceeds from the event go to MARC Community Resources, Mayor Mike’s Foundation For Kids and The Hartford Rib Off Scholarship Fun. Learn more about the charities here.
Ticket prices for Saturday:
- $50 Adult advance ticket ($65 at the door)
- Kids 12 and under always free
- $20 for kids, 13 to 20
- $100 family pack: 2 adults, 2 children up to age 20
