Ice-T to Perform Free Show at The Big E

Grammy Award winner Ice-T will be performing at the Big E this year.

The rapper and actor will put on a show at the Big E’s Xfinity Arena on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. The show is free with fair admission, but a limited number of premium reserved floor seats are available for purchase starting on Thursday, 

Ice-T started his musical journey in high school. After leaving the Army, he got his first break when asked to rap in the 1984 film Breakin’. In 1987 he signed with a record label and released his debut album Rhyme Pays.

He also has a successful acting career, starring in Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit, as Detective Odafin Tutuola since 2000.

The Big E runs Sept. 14 through Sept. 30 in West Springfield, Mass. The massive fair is known for everything from amazing food to entertainment, rides, crafts, and of course, the agricultural events.

This year Connecticut Day at the Big E is Wednesday, Sept. 19.
