Mohegan Sun is getting ready for their seventh annual Sun BBQ Fest.
There will be lots of food, cold beer, hand-crafted cocktails, live music and more at the event, a spokesperson for Mohegan Sun said.
Guests can also enjoy food options from nationally-acclaimed barbecue teams, sample small bites in the People's Choice Competition or participate in the annual Wing and Rib competition.
Sun BBQ Fest will feature a barbecue competition with over 50 teams, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society.
Celebrity chef and barbecue expert Myron Mixon will perform two chef demos at the event that will be open to the public.
There will be live music all day long Sunday on the Main Stage.
A fireworks show will take place on Saturday night, sponsored by Liberty Bank.
Tickets cost $5.00 per day or $8.00 for weekend passes and are now on sale at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Kids six and under receive free admission.
The event will take place in the Winter Parking Lot on June 1 and 2, rain or shine.
Note: Mohegan Sun requires persons under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the Sun BBQ Fest.
