Pokemon Championship Comes to Hartford This Weekend

    Thousands of people are expected to come to Hartford this weekend for the 2019 Pokemon Regional Championships.

    Participants will take part in either Pokemon Trading Card Games or video games at the Connecticut Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday.

    Competitors will battle for up to $50,000 in scholarships and prizes and someone will win the title of Pokemon Regional Champion. Some will earn Championship points that count towards a possible invite to the 2019 Pokemon World Championships in Washington, D.C. this summer.
